Gyeongbokgung Palace

Then we went to Gyeongbokgung Palace. It was huge... it was the main royal palace of the Joseon dynasty. Built in 1935. There are 2 museum inside which is National Palace Museum and National Folk Museum.

 

Seoul Day 2 - Bukchon Hanok Village

We went to the famous Bukchon Hanok Village which is a Korean traditional village in Seoul with a long history ( and there are still residents in that area ) you cannot make noise when you are around the area.There's a sign to tell that the house is occupied. It was located on the top of a hill between Gyeongbok Palace, Changdeok Palace and Jongmyo Royal Shrine.

 

Seoul Part 2

We did not any specific itinerary when we went to Seoul. It was a last minute trip since it was school holiday. We did not make any plans earlier because Yasmin is still in school. But there was a reasonable price for MAS flight to Seoul so we just bought the ticket.
At that time no one in the family (means Melly and Lala) was into this Korean things.. Well now (2021) they do. So we just go with the flow.... enjoy the holidays.
We thought it was spring with cool weather but we were wrong, it was snowing the first day that we arrive and it was soooo cold, mum had to buy a new winter jacket.
We we love the most (well mum anyway) is that our apartment is just opposite of Lotte Supermarket so it is easy to buy ingredients to cook. Well mum love supermarket anyway.

Who : Mum, Dad, Lala & Melly (Yaya kena tinggal cos it was not her school holiday)

DAY 2 - Went sightseeing around Seoul. Lots of walking as usual. This time mummy dah pro in travelling. We pack some rice and telur dadar and stop whenever we feel hungry to eat our bekal
 

 

Random pictures from our trip to Seoul in 2018. For this trip, Yasmin was left behind because of school. It was Dad,Mum,Lala & Melly. Took MAS flight to Seoul and we stayed at Kangs Duplex right in front of Seoul Station. We went in March thinking it was already Spring but we were WRONG... it was damn cold... Still winter time in Seoul. Had to buy a new jacket and new shoes in Seoul
